PRINTED CIRCUIT
A printed circuit is simply a network of copper strips attached to a board. It is made by first planning a circuit on a clean copper plate through carbon paper. The carbon plate is glued to an insulating sheath.The carbon lines on the copper are then printed over with a substance that resists being etched by an acid. The board is then put into a bath of acid or etching solution in which all the copper except for the printed is etched away.The printed circuit is removed and cleaned. Holes are drilled at various points along the copper lines. The electronic devices or components are placed on the non-copper side of the board.The wires from each component are fed through the holes soldered to the copper.Current can now flow along the lines to each component.
